I. Section - Two Hard rules

There are two main hard and fast rules for anyone who would like to become an "atheist." If you are tempted, beware. It's not an easy thing to do.

The first rule is to ignore design in nature. You will see it everywhere; from the planets, to the atoms, to the birds and the bees, to the seasons, to the design of the human body, the design of fish, flowers, fruits, feet, and even fungus. 

And of course, the amazing-looking human eye. Everywhere you look and everywhere you can't look, you will see design.

Now here's the hard part. Ignore your God-given common sense. Admit that everything man made is man-made, but be uncompromisingly adamant that everything in nature came from nothing, with no Designer. 

Once you have set aside your acumen to do this, crown yourself as being intelligent. Very. Then find other atheists and they will confirm to you that you are indeed, intelligent.

The second rule is to "believe." This is very important, because if you let doubt in, it will let you in fear, and that can be a scary thing when the issue at stake is a place called "Hell."

Believe that you are right in your beliefs. Believe that evolution is indeed true. Believe that it's scientific. Believe that there are no missing links, and believe that Richard Dawkins knows what he is talking about.

Believe that you are an ape, that you are not morally responsible because apes have no moral absolutes. Believe that your conscience was given to you by your parents and society, and not by God (always use a small "g" for God, if possible).

To grow as an atheist, you will need to learn believers' language--phrases like "There is no creation," "Evolution is a proven fact," and the powerful "Flying Spaghetti Monster." 

Learn the fine art of cutting and pasting, and responding with "Straw man!" That means you won't have to respond to anything challenging.

All this will give perceived intelligence. Never question evolution, and don't think for yourself.

Do these things, and you will be able to call yourself an atheist, or even a "new" atheist. How cool is that! Well, I should say, as much of one as you can be called one. 

No one can be a true atheist because you need "absolute knowledge" to say that there is no God. So until you are omniscient (like God), you will just have to do with pretending to be one.

I I. Section - What shall I do to be saved? 

Acts 2

37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?

38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 

39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

 Acts 16

 30 He then brought them out and asked "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"

30 They replied "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved you and your household".

Reading Ray Comfort's post "How to Become an Atheist", I don't think I'm an Atheist anymore, so I would like to know what shall I do to be saved?

My friend, you can’t earn eternal life. It is God’s gift to all who humble themselves and come to Jesus. 

Turn to God in repentance and have faith in the Lord Jesus and He will forgive your sins and give you a new heart. 

Acts 20:21

I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

But, how can I come to Jesus?

Would you like to pray … and tell God that you understand now that because you are a sinner and broke God’s law, you can’t earn eternal life, but you repent from all your sins and put your faith only in Jesus?

If this is your desire and you want to pray right now, please do with me this prayer: 

Yes i do.

Heavenly Father, I don't want to be anymore an atheist and I want to put my trust in Jesus today. Please, have mercy on me, a sinner. 

I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness for my sins and eternal life. 

I know that without you in my heart my life is meaningless.

I believe in my heart that you, Lord God, raised Him from the dead. 

Please Jesus forgive me, for every sin I have ever committed or done in my heart, please Lord Jesus forgive me and come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior today. 

I need you to be my Savior and my Father.

I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on; I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ."

I Met Mr Good Person or Mr Good! He really thinks If good people go to heaven he will be first in line. I asked him - Are you a good person?

Mr Good Person - Well … I try to do what’s right.

Have you kept the Ten Commandments?

Pretty much.

Really? Do you mind if we look at them?

Um… All right!

Have you ever told a lie?

Yeah, who hasn’t?

What do you call someone who lies?

A liar.

Have you ever stolen anything?

Nope.

But you just told me you are a liar.

Well, I did steal some candy once as a kid.

What do you call someone who steals?

A thief.

Have you ever looked at a woman to lust after her?

Of course.

Jesus said:

“Whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery in his heart. Matthew 5:28

What are you called, then?

I am an adulterous man!!!

But, hey, slow it down man… I am a human being.

Have you ever used God’s name to curse?

What’s…? 

That’s called blasphemy.

“The Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name Exodus 20:7

After all, what do you want from me?

By your own admission you are a liar, a thief, a blasphemer and adultery at heart. And that’s just four of the Ten Commandments.

OK I‘m not perfect, so what can I do better?

Actually it’s worse than that … sin isn’t just doing things we shouldn’t. There’s more. 

Suppose we could put a device in your brain that would record all your private thoughts for a week …

And … what?

And then play them on a movie screen for your friends and family to see.

I can only think you are joking … that would be very embarrassing for me!

God knows the secrets of the heart Psalm 44:21

It’s all OK, but, compared to some people I’m a Saint.

True. But the standard is God’s law, not other people. Besides, even if you sin just five times a day … in one year, that’s 1.825 sins! If you would be seventy, you’ll have broken God’s law over 127.000 times!

You’ll have to answer for every sin on judgment day, when “each of us will give an account of himself to God”. Romans 14:12

But won’t God just forgive me?

Guilty...!!!

Try in court … Imagine that you committed a serious crime and you are standing before a judge.

But couldn’t the judge just let it slide.

Only a corrupt judge would do that. A good judge would say “justice demands that you pay for your crimes”.

God is a Holy Righteous Judge, He hates sin and Jesus warned that God in His wrath will cast all who sin into eternal fire … where there will be weeping … Matthew 13:42

Gulp! Then how can anyone go to heaven?

There’s only one way … if a sinless person offered to take your punishment, then justice would be served and you could go free. God loves you so much, He sent His Son Jesus to suffer and die for your sins.

What shall I do to be saved? (Acts 2:37, 16:30)

You can’t earn eternal life. It is God’s gift to all who humble themselves and come to Jesus. “Turn to God in repentance and have faith in the Lord Jesus Act 20:21.

And He will forgive your sins and give you a new heart.

But, how can I come to Jesus?

Would you like to pray … and tell God that you understand now that you broke God’s law and you can’t earn eternal life, but you repent from all your sins and put your faith only in Jesus?

The Prayer of Mr. Good Person:
